Can we get the detailed release notes for 3.1? In particular, I’d like to more info on this item:

We are working on getting updated SDK documentation ready now, can’t promise what will or will not be in there at this time.

Without asking for Roku to make any commitments, I’d just to like to add a +1 for any additional network remote functionality/documentation.

The v4.1 SDK (which includes all the v3.1 documentation as well) does not introduce any new enhancements to the ECP protocol.

Really? What do the 4.1 notes mean when it says “Added enhancements to support the official Roku iPhone app”. How would that be possible if the external control API? Or is it using undocumented functions? Or does that just mean the iPhone app was changed?

I understand it now as “includes addition to ECP to sync/download newly added channels; one that you don’t need to know” :twisted:
the “Roku” app also uses web service to get channels&categories, add/remove/rate channels - but that is outside firmware.
