I’m visiting my mother, so I got to see the “locked up on home screen” bug on her XS for myself, but now I’m seeing another problem that I haven’t seen mentioned. If I try to reset the developer password, it just locks up once I get to the screen where you select the password and try to select either “Set password” or “Cancel”. Anyone with an XS on 7.0 want to give it a try?

Confirmed on my 2XS. I already had developer mode enabled, and tried to change the password. After I click ‘Set password’ or ‘Cancel’, it locks up. I can hear the key noise for the Home key, but it doesn’t respond to any remote key presses.

Yep, that’s what I’m seeing. It does respond to the “crash dump and reboot” sequence (Homex5, Up, Rewx2, FFx2), so at least you don’t have to get up and unplug it. I’m not sure whether or not it actually saves the entered password.
