Change highlight color for ads when using SetAdSelectable?

When you set SetAdSelectable( true ) for a poster/springboard screen, a black box is used to select and highlight the ad.

This works well for screens with light backgrounds, but if you have a black/dark BackgroundColor, then you can’t see it.

Potential fix suggestions:

  • Allow us to set the hex color for the ad highlight square.

  • When ThemeType = “generic-dark”, draw the ad highlight square as a lighter color.

  • Do something automatically based on how light/dark the BackgroundColor is.

Hopefully something for the next firmware release?

Good suggestion. It’s on our list, but no guarantees about release timing.
