Hi,
I am trying to play DASH streams, with external srt (multiple) files by setting the SubtitleTracks params. But the initial video load doesn’t load the subtitles. Only if we change the sub by pressing the * button it would work. Happens on all Roku devices.
Any recent release broke this?
But this same works with HLS streams.

it doesnt work on the Roku Testplayer also. Some on from Roku kindly acknowledge!! If you want I can share mpd file also.
We recently switched from smooth streams with embedded captions to dash streams with sideloaded captions and are experiencing similar problems.
The captions will display intermittently, and not at all on some devices. It’s been difficult to nail down exactly which devices don’t display them 100% of the time due to the randomness of success.
interestingly works on Roku1 but not on Roku Ultra/2/3/Stick!
No one from Roku cares.
