it is a good line that Roku themselves should’ve drawn as part of the RSG mandate. Why is Hulu allowed to do this whereas other media companies are not? Obviously because they are Hulu, but wouldn’t it be nice if everyone had the power to draw their own lines on what devices their public store app will support? Ok well not really but how about if Roku would simply deprecate devices that make miserable us developers, and, I’d imagine end users as well!
At my job we asked and begged (due to things like https://forums.roku.com/viewtopic.php?f … 3&p=583939 ). But the low end devices were still required to be supported in order for certification in the public store.
