Getting Started with very basic setup

Ok so.. I have remote in hand.. Roku powered up, turned on…
Given the sequence home home home:up up:right:left:right:left:right (arrows)… ALL i GET IS THE MENU MOVES…

So I hit Home 3 times… I hit the up arrow the menu goes up.. etc

What folks am I doing wrong.. as I can not even get the developer menu to come .. :disappointed_face:

Ignore what’s happening on the screen. You have to enter the entire sequence within a short time period. Something like two button presses per second should get it done.
