Maybe I’ll PM the guy here instead, because I know he posts here sometimes.
Similar story here. I would love to get a glimpse of some of their non-porn related channels. Let us know what you find out about getting a code without visiting their site or following via Twitter. It would really be nice if they created, and made the channels available, independent of the adult content site.

What you don’t like porn? You lie
We’ve been working hard over here at EroticVision.TV to bring more content both on the porn and mainstream side. We’ve got the deals in place to bring content from just about every adult studio, it just takes some time for integration.
The “beta” channels we put together are “basic” channels, just stuff that I would like to watch. There will be a lot of meh! I’m sure, but really I believe that this is why we are all so excited about this type of delivery and the variety it brings.
The channels are free, so you get what you pay for I guess. PM me for the channel codes. I do ask that you that they not be distributed publicly until Roku gets done with the QA process.
If you have a RSS feed that you’d like to see made into a channel (SD/HD podcasts are simple), just PM me and I’ll see what I can do. (disclaimer, I’m not producing channels for commercial entities, just public video feeds, non-profit, etc. as a gift to the community, a favor if you will).
I’ve been going through the Internet Archive channel and it’s really cool. I didn’t realize how much WB stuff was in public domain. Watching some old Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies stuff.

Nice. I’ll check out the other stuff too.
There’s 10’s of thousands of videos there. The problem with archive.org is that their RSS API is broken. You are supposed to be able to specify the number of entries included in the feed, but no matter what it returns 50. I’ve been trying to hunt someone technical down there so I can find out what I can do, but for now it’s the “newest” 50 per genre. In addition, you will find some videos there that the Roku just won’t play.
These channels are not a commercial project, it’s just for fun. With that in mind, I’ll be tinkering with them in the future to try to make them better.
I wish I was skilled. I’d love to help on something like this. I noticed that IA will let you bookmark things on their site, but the XML is gives doesn’t have media – just a link to the media page.
A search option would be excellent for a channel with this much content.
Internet Archives’ links are not that straight forward. You have to add a few bits and pieces to get an actual streaming file. We were considering adding an Internet Archive area but we had similar problems.
We ended up giving the Internet Archive a couple of phone calls before we got the answers we needed. They didn’t reply to our e-mails at the beginning.
I like the logo supersecretusername. We couldn’t find a large enough image so we created our own but it’s not a big deal now since you have created a channel.

Maybe KennyJ could be the curator of a few Internet Archive RSS feeds
Can you please work your porn magic and get Crackle & Fearnet to make channels on the Roku player?
I don’t know how. Use your magic…Be like come on look at all the porn studios being added. Everyone wants on the Roku box. It’s the coolest. You can do it.
Thanks.
Okay I might be asking to much…At least see if some kind of RSS feed thing can be done…

It is asking too much. We won’t even think about doing a commercial entity gratis. It’s taken nearly a man year to get us to this point. That will be up to someone else to donate their time. We’re also not interested in doing any kids programming (that would be a bit weird). I’m working on a professional cycling channel now, so you see no subject is too obscure.
But…if you guys can post a link to a RSS feed that contains quality free programming, the video works on the Roku, and we can get permission, I’ll do it. As you’ve seen, the only thing we get out of it is a banner to vidpoints.com. Vidpoints.com is new and a little rough around the edges, but it works, is any easy way to get free stuff, so try it.
This is a chance for the guys that can’t program to contribute.
Kudos to you and those you work with. I have had a chance to check out some of the new channels and there is a lot to like. I was particularly interested in Earthtouch.com, videos I was really hoping to get via Mediafly. However, for whatever reasons all I get with them is constant re-buffering. The only small disappointment is all the Earthtouch.com videos are the non-commentary variety. On the plus side, the picture quality is outstanding, on par with what I get via AppleTV. Again, thanks for making this new content available.

Fearnet does have a RSS feed and would make a grand channel.

It’s not rebuffering for you through this new channel? I get a rebuffer about every 10-15 seconds.
