HD video plays back too fast

Any HD videos that I attempt to play from my content provider are being played back a little sped up (like 1.1x). I’ve experienced this problem trying to play the file directly from their servers, and also when playing the fully downloaded file from the USB channel.

Here is an example of an HD video that exhibits this problem on the Roku:

For comparison, this is a different encoding of the same file that plays correctly:

The HD video plays correctly on my computer, but I don’t have any other media streamers to test against.

Tested on the latest 2.9 firmware.

I think there’s something wrong with your encoding. I can’t play that file back at all. I can’t even open it and dump info with ffmpeg.

OK, re-downloaded. For some reason – the files were different in size by one byte :? . Anyways…file plays fine on the computer in VLC. When I play it on the Roku in Gabby…it plays at normal speed. I haven’t tested sending it straight to the roku though.

In my case, it just seems to be the audio that’s affected. As far as I can tell, the video is playing at the correct speed, the audio is just higher pitched for some reason.
