HLS CODECS="mp4a.40.5" Supported?

I’m working on getting an HLS audio stream and having not luck on playback. The only thing I’m getting fro the Audio node is -1 invalid. I’m wondering is CODECS=“mp4a.40.5” a supported codec? Also this uses AES-128 but the key is handled within the HLS files. I really can’t get past the first m3u8 manifest.
