How do you get the timezone abbreviation from a ifDateTime?

I’m looking to get the EST, EDT, PST type abbreviation based off an ifDateTime.

This is pretty common in most languages, but I didn’t see it in the docs. Is there an implementation or library that I’ve overlooked?
