How long it takes for a public channel to get approved?

I am hoping Roku is doing a much better job on this than Apple.

It depends. Generally, it’s about two weeks, but there’s a glut of channels right now. If you have a concern about a particularly channel, please drop us a line at partners@roku.com.

When I set price for a private channel, it told me it is subject to approval which surprised me, as I thought there is no approval process for private channel.

It is the same review process as a public channel? If not, how longer does it take?

I read the SDK document again, it says “There is no Roku approval process necessary to publish a Private Channel.”

And my Private Channel with monthly fee is still unpublished.

Is non-free Private Channel different? Or this is a bug?
