Lost Original Channel Code

A hard drive recently failed and unfortunately contained un-backed-up BrightScript code for one of my channels. I’ve been reading that I may be out of luck trying to recover the code from my ROKU device. Thought I would post a message here to see if anyone has a solution?

Is there a way to retrieve the code I uploaded to my ROKU? Looks like the package download from the Roku website is encrypted.

My gut feeling is that you are out of luck unless someone at Roku can come to your rescue.
Moving forward you should ALWAYS use a versioning system, even if you are a 1 person team.
