Hi,
I am developing a channel for Malayalam/Tamil Movies and TV.
Let me know if some one needs tester id ?
Learner
Hi ,
I would like to get test user id for malayalam channels . I was searching for a good channel in roku to watch malayalam tv/movies.
Thanks
There is a few in the Channel Store and maybe some Private ones.
I was using entekeralam , but unfortunately they stopped their service from last month. Could not find any other good channels that was worth trying. BOM,channelLive, IPTV,Yupp are few i could find , but too expensive for just 1 or 2 malayalam channels . Please let me know if anyone knows any other channels in channel store or any private channels that can stream malayalam TV channels??? that will be really helpful
Thanks

hi,
I am new to this forum.
As said by abchappy, i was also dealing with entekeralm to see Malayalam channels..
Now planing to move to BOM or YUPP …
Is there any other channels that I could see malayalam channels . BOM and YUPP are bit expensive..
ABC did you find anything that is cheap like entekerlam
Please note, our developer agreement has recently been updated to require written permission from Roku before introducing channels with international or foreign language content (including private channels). Please contact us at partners@roku.com if you wish to discuss.
Does it apply to only live channels or also for any video ???
…
@others
Bom and yupp is expensive…
I know that… thats why no one takes them… hehe
That is called Rip off…
Even if they are the only ones we wont take from them .. We can use websites to watch…
Many of the channels are free but we have to approach them which is not possible unless u r in india.
Cant say more here…
Another note, I have tried partners@roku.com a couple times in the past and no response. I e-mailed yesterday and thought I would get a reply by now for my channel.

You sent it last night, well after people had gone home. Ill get a response for your shortly.
Thanks, I just PM’d you too.
in that case except for Yupp and Bom also i think, all the other channels must go hehe…
Then i think no one will go for roku atlast..
I know Roku will be pressurized. But i dont understand why private channels should follow this.
Youtube would have been shutdown by this time because of this then…U know the stuff users are posting.
Even Apple follows same principle for apps But people can have their own apps also and no one can restrict them.
People are coming to roku just because of channels and if Roku restricts everything… then…
Any way all are not corporates to go to each office and get their consent .
Please post the rules required to stream channels as FAQ .
I know what your saying. I can get all my content off youtube today if I wanted. That means if no freedom to create a channel how we want, then a new device may be in the works to allow for this. I think the big companies want to push the little guys around and are afraid they may not make that extra dollar. Just my opinion.
I would be interested in Malayalam/Tamil channels
