The closed captions support table got removed from this page: Closed caption
It used to have a table that listed the manifest formats and which types of subtitles it supported. The page still makes reference to it “Below is a summary”, but the table is gone. The info is also available here: Streaming specifications, but the page should either have the table or remove the "Closed caption support summary" header.
