Newbie to Roku, DASH - Clearkey & Widevine questions

Hi

I am new to Roku development and have a few questions.

Is the Roku capable of playing DASH (.mpd) streams that require Clearkey and/or Widevine licence? Or do they use a different format ie HLS (.m3u8)
