I want to perform penetration testing for one of my Roku channel. But I didn’t came across any such tools yet for Roku.
Is there any tool for Penetration/Security testing which supports BrightScript language or Roku applications?
When I needed to do some penetration testing on a Roku channel, I hit the same wall—there aren’t a lot of tools that work specifically with BrightScript or Roku apps. What helped me was using general security testing tools for backend vulnerabilities, focusing on the APIs and any web services the channel relied on. For testing how my network would handle stress, using something like an ip stress test was useful. It gave me a good sense of whether the setup could handle heavy traffic or potential attacks. Even though it’s not Roku-specific, it’s a practical step to help ensure everything is secure and running smoothly.
