Playing subtitles embedded in videos

Hi,

Do the roku video players have the ability to play the subtitles that are embedded into the video stream for mkv, ts formats etc ?

Or is the only way to display subtitles using an external SRT file ?

Does anybody know when this is going to be fixed? This is 2012, after all…

Maybe you can pull the SRTs out of your files? There seem to be plenty of tutorials on how to do that online.
