I just bought a Roku box and I am interested in learning how to program for the system. Are there any simple templates and tutorials on how to make an app online? I would love to learn and it would be a great idea to have a tutorial.
I would like to learn how I can program a simple streaming application.
There is documentation and several example channels included with the SDK (http://www.roku.com/developer).
The developer forum is also a good source of information (viewforum.php?f=34).

One of the goals is to make it extremely accessible to non-programmers, so if anyone has been on the fence and doesn’t know where to start with the SDK, I suggest they take a look.
