Remove "search" button from roSearchScreen?

Is there any way to remove the little “search” button from the lower left of the roSearchScreen?
Given the search suggestions generated on the fly, It doesn’t seem to do anything useful in our app.

Did you ever figure out an answer to this question (or a reasonable workaround for it)?

You cannot remove the “Search” button. Since the search screen is only able to show a single string of text for 9 results, I usually use the Search button to take the user to a new screen (poster or grid) with the full search results with expanded metadata.
