Roku_Ads_checkAllowedFeature: ERROR: No whitelist response f

Hey guys,

I need help once again.

I am integrating RAF in my Roku App.It is throwing the following error

Roku_Ads_checkAllowedFeature: ERROR: Empty whitelist response for ROKU_ADS_NIELSEN_ID
Roku_Ads_checkAllowedFeature: Parsing whitelist for ROKU_ADS_NIELSEN_ID
Roku_Ads library version: 1.5
RAF 1.5; response error: Invalid URL

So that my ad is not getting appeared.

Please guys I need help urgently.

For channels such that don’t have a Nielsen App ID, Nielsen generated a general purpose ID for our ad network:

P2871BBFF-1A28-44AA-AF68-C7DE4B148C32

Hope that helps,

Joel

Umm, no - not really.
What does that error mean - why is there if the “optional” Nielsen ID is not set? RAF shouldn’t vomit.

Documentation has a long legalese of what privacy repercussions using Nielsen ID has, which is outright scary. If i were to use your ID above, who handles the privacy policy?

Hi joel,

Thanks. Nielsen App ID is generated by RAF or by our ad network.

How can I solve this.please suggest me.

Thanks a lot. But how can I solve this ?

In this case, the Nielsen ID has nothing to do with the problem the OP is seeing. The error he/she needs to be paying attention to is this one…

RAF 1.5; response error: Invalid URL

It sounds like you’re passing a bad VAST URL to RAF.
