roVideoScreen - HLS and Subtitles Don't Work

I’ve encountered an issue with roVideoScreen and HLS streams. Attempting to set SubtitleUrl prevents playback. Playback immediately fails with the typical “The format is not supported or the media is corrupt” error. This happens consistently. The same file/stream plays fine without setting SubtitleUrl. Is this expected behavior? If so, when can we reasonably expect to be able to specify a subtitle url for HLS streams using roVideoScreen?

This is expected to work. If you have an example that doesn’t work you can PM it to me and we’ll take a look.

I’d hate to use a blanket statement like “it’s happening on every video”; but that’s what I’m experiencing. When I get a chance, I’ll take a look at replicating this with a publicly accessible stream and send you the info.
