To be clear, your channel zip is sideloaded and running when you take the screenshot?
yes. I’m using the eclipse plugin to load the app.
Here is the image I am getting. The app is running too.

What model of Roku do you have, and what is the firmware version?

What type of screen does your channel use? Is it an roScreen or an roImageCanvas?
I’m not sure I follow. I’m just using the built in screenshot functionality on the roku web interface.
To get a valid screenshot, your app has to be opened. When you are inside the application, on the screen you want to capture, then use screenshot button. Sorry for my english…
You can’t take a screenshot through the web interface if your app is currently playing a video file.
Thanks for pointing that out Destruk. Bug filed.
What you describe above is exactly what I am doing. I open the application to the screen I want to take a screenshot of and then hit the screenshot button. The above image is what I keep getting even when I have the application open to the screen I want. Any suggestions? Anyone else having he same problem?
I think the problem is in display mode… Try with 720p output.
