Unable to connect to my Roku over http

I would like start developing channels for the Roku Streaming Player. I have the Roku XD with software v2.9, build 1509. The device is connected to my wireless network and is working fine. I can ping the device from my PC but if I am unable to connect to it from my browser. I could not find anything on the Settings menu to enable this.

Appreciate your help since I am eager to start creating channels.

Download the SDK documentation, and read the developer guide. It will explain how to enable dev mode on your Roku.

Sorry, I should have read the instructions more carefully! I found the key combinations to enable developer mode and am able to connect now!
