Update Version 6.1 Build 5517 causes roku to crash

Dear Roku Support,
Since last night Jan 13, 2015 roku updated Version 6.1 Build 5517 causes roku to crash when playing some of the Transcoded live channels.
How do we fix this issue. Is Roku aware of this. I am using my own private channel app and nothing has changed. Other Rokus I have with older version are fine but the new update is killing it.
System freezes and restarts when accessing some of the channels.

Now to try to answer your question:

  • I’m not aware of a specific reboot issue with live streams in 6.1, and of course we want to know about things that might cause problems like that, so thanks for posting.

Please post more details including the name of your channel and the install code, or, if you don’t want to make that information public, please send me a Private Message via this forum and I’ll look into it.
