Use of microphone with an App

I am trying to develop an APP for ROKU which needs a microphone. I have few general question before I jump into it.

  • Can a USB microphone be connected to ROKU box to be used with my APP?
  • My APP also should basically be able to manage volume up and down for the microphone while in use.

While not authoritative answer, i would say no - you can’t do that with a Roku.
IMHO you’ll have better luck doing that with FireTV and/or Android TV.
