I have been reading sdk but where is the script for videoplayer with categories? I read there is a code that can be customized but I must have overlooked it in the documents.
If it gets to be further time consuming I may have to pay someone to do the build. Any idea the approximate fee to have someone build the channel?
Looking to use amazon for my files and doing my own encoding and channel graphics.

It depends on the nature of the channel. Assuming you have all the infrastructure in place to generate the XML and stream the content to the roku the time varies from a few days to a few weeks based on the complexity of the project. A plus if you have your graphics ready already - a significant amount of time I spend working with clients goes to making their graphics look right on roku.
