I am using wirecast on my local pc to stream content to my wowza media server. I know how to setup my wowza server to play video on demand on Roku but I need help with setting up the wowza media server to stream live content to the Roku player. I need step by step instructions. I would like to use the Roku custom video player
Check out the encoding guide in the SDK. It has a section on setting up Wowza.

I am using wirecast which is encoding the video for me. I can get the file to play but I only hear audio the video will not display. Also using wirecast I do not see all of the option for encoding the video. I only see a few of the options. Also my output is coming out as http://199.48.177.138:1935/live/myStream.sdp.m3u8
I tried taking a look at the link below, but couldn’t connet to the host.

Can you provide me with step by step instruction on setting everything up with wirecast and wowza media server. I will post this up on there site for others that are having the same issue.
1.)With WireCast open I will go to broadcast settings. after that what options do I need to select to encode the live stream correctly.
2.)when using the custom video player example from the roku SDK what is the stream url do I insert.
The step by step Wowza setup is in the Encoding Guide.
