Newbie Question: Roku Billing App?

I’ve created my first draft Roku app using the sample Roku app provided with the Brightscript Eclipse Plugin.

My app will include free videos, and other videos that require payment/subscription. I have begun to learn about the “Roku Billing and In-Channel Purchasing App”.

Question: do I need to combine my draft app with the code from the “Roku Billing and In-Channel Purchasing App” in some way?

You shouldn’t be required to combine anything - make sure your account has billing enabled, and add the required lines for the roku billing process (channelstore) and add your prices for required items through the web interface if they haven’t made custom runtime billing active yet.
