I created a screen saver and received the email that it was published.
I can find the screen saver on roku.com without issue:
Halloween Screen Saver Channels | TV Apps | Roku Channel Store | Roku
However, the screen saver does not appear in the app store on the TV.
Is there something I’m missing ?

I can find it if I search for “Halloween Screen Saver”. It even showed up just searching for “Halloween screen”. It may just take a little while to appear after getting that email. Roku makes it hard on us with their search. Results seem to be very limited, so users often have to know exactly the right search term.

What does it take to get in that list, labelled “Popular screensavers”?

Good question. I have no idea and Roku certainly hasn’t provided any information. I have the same issue with games. Users used to be able to see all apps in a category, but not anymore. It went away with no explanation. You can try Partner Success, but don’t get your hopes up.
