My remote volume jumps up and down when I only pushed it once. I have unplugged tv and Roku, repaired, checked updates and even bought a new one yesterday and the same thing continues to happen. Is this an bug in the latest software update??
Can you share with us the OS version and device model that this is happening on, and if you got a brand new remote, what remote model that is as well? Thanks!
Also, do you have a soundbar or receiver plugged into your Roku TV? When those are connected, the volume number shown is reported by the connected audio device, and I’ve seen those jump by 3s or 5s or so other odd behavior.
I’m not sure what the version was the day it started doing this but yesterday it updated to 15.3.4. I bought a brand new Roku streaming stick 4k that came with remote and stick. Had exactly the same kind when it started jumping. I thought we may have just needed a new one. (although that one was only two years) so purchased another one and it was still doing the same thing.
No I do not have it with any sound
Or receiver plugged into the TV just the Samsung TV and Roku that’s it
