I am trying to instal the Software Development Kit. I have an extracted zip folder on my Mac. I see no file to install any SDK. All I have is a bunch of useless info. I downloaded this file from the Roku developer site. I am wanting to make my own channel. How do I install the developer?

Ermm.. the “useless info” you refer to is exactly the information you need in order to build a channel. The Developer Guide included in the SDK download should tell you everything you need to know to get started.
